THE 2020 ONLINE KOREAN SPEECH CONTEST.
To commemorate the 574th Anniversary of Hangul Day (October 9, 2020) and Hangul Day 2020 in California, the Korean Cultural Center, Los Angeles (KCCLA), and the King Sejong Institute Center, USA (KSICUSA) are pleased to announce the 2020 Online Korean Speech Contest.
The competition will be divided into Introductory/Basic and Intermediate/Advanced levels, respectively.
Anyone in the United States, aged 18 years or older, who is interested in Korean language and culture, or is currently learning Korean, as well as King Sejong Institute students, can participate in the event.
The theme of this year's contest can be on various topics related to the Korean language or Korean culture.
Contestants will submit video entries by email through October 9, 2020. (No Online Final Rounds)

Evaluation period: October 13 - 14, 2020

Awards: Contestants will be evaluated in two divisions:
1. Introductory / Basic Courses
2. Intermediate / Advanced Courses

Each video is limited to 2 minutes for Introductory/Basic levels and 3 minutes for Intermediate/Advanced levels.
We look forward to participants not only sharing their perspectives of Korean Culture but also learning from each other through information about their own cultures. We hope this event will build a bridge between Korea and other countries and that all those interested in the Korean language and culture will enjoy participating in this exciting event.
